Thank you for your service to our country.  The waving flags stand for our great nation and the freedoms you fought to defend and protect.  The person in the center is surrounded by a heart, not only from the love of friends and family, but more importantly the love of God.  That person is you or others who have sacrificed for our country.  The hands are the human touch that is so needed to nurture, heal, and express our emotions throughout our lives.  The purple heart towards the top right of the painting has the shape of a person with eyes covered.  It is the trust or faith we have in God to bring all things together for his purpose. He is the keeper of your heart.
